![]() Internet stated a price for a 5th food item, but the venue didn’t know anything about that. ![]() Note: We booked on-line, and there was confusion between what is stated on the website, and what the staff at the venue would allow. The stand-out food for us was the buffalo wings and the mushroom-spinach-truffle pizza, but the chicken sliders were a little dry, and the hummus disappointing but veggies that came with it were first class. We got a party package involving food, which was pretty good. Getting shoes was easy (self-service from a nice area), and the lanes were in very good condition, it not slightly under lit, although I would not call it a nightclub venue at all. Went with a small group from work for a social evening out. Lucky Strike is looking better and better. I really will hesitate booking with them again. I have entertained groups at Frames before and have never experienced such poor service. Tyler, the girl at the front desk was rude and unwilling to accommodate us. I said that all we needed was another 10-15 minutes to finish our games and for the amount of money I had already spent, customer service wise it should be a no brainer. I looked around and the place was basically dead with multiple lanes dark and available. They said no way and that they had people waiting for our lanes. We were only in our 6th frame/ I went up to the front desk and asked them to extend our time until we finished our games. We had so much fun for the first 2 games and we were still having fun on the 3rd game when the screen said we only had 5 minutes left. Once we got a server we ordered a tower of beer which took another 10 minutes to arrive. The lanes were nice but we had to track down a server to get any attention. ![]() Anyway 15 minutes later (I think they were stalling so we would buy some drinks) they said it was okay to get our shoes and go to our lanes. Come on, you're a bowling ally not Studio 54. The front desk was snotty from the get go. When our buzzer buzzed we were then allowed to get our shoes. Our group showed up exactly on time and we were told we had to wait. The cost for booking the 2 lanes ahead of time was over $350. I booked 2 lanes for 2 hours on a Wednesday night for a group of 6 people. I had the opportunity to experience such a time at Frames in NYC. Some were pleasant but multiple were not.īowling is a lot of fun, especially when you have a great group of people to share the experience with. Won't be visiting here again because of the interaction with staff. Absolutely confused at the entire experience, made our friend feel awful for getting thrown out for no reason. There were other groups with passed out drunk people throwing up and security was nowhere to be seen. Honestly ruined our night that was going well otherwise. He didn't even ask her, just physically grabbed her and threw her out of the premises. Later in the night, the security guard we had encountered before grabbed our friend, accused her of vaping and she definitely wasn't. We saw other groups with 10 people with the same amount of food. It tasted fine but we paid for a package including food for 15 people and we only received one serving, which was nowhere near enough. ![]() We had a lot of fun with the bowling and ping pong, other than the fact the group before us went over and they cut our booking short, so we basically paid for 2 hours but got 1 hr 45 mins. He questioned us four times on the booking he saw on the notepad and didn't really give us the vibe we were even welcome despite having a reservation. From the second we arrived, the security guard was very rude.
